The X Factor fan favorite Rachel Crow has just landed a Nickelodeon TV deal and Columbia Records contract, JustJared.com an confirm.
The 14-year-old singer has scored a talent deal with Nickelodeon that includes a recurring role on comedy series, Fred: The Show, and her own musical comedy series pilot.
In addition, Rachel has been signed by Columbia Records in partnership with her X Factor coach Simon Cowell‘s company, Syco.
“It’s such an honor to be signed to Columbia Records,” Rachel said in a statement. “To think that I am signed to the same label as my idols is a dream come true. I can’t wait to get in the studio and start making music.”
“And I am so excited to now be a part of the Nickelodeon family. I grew up watching Nick, and I’m a huge fan,” Rachel added.
Rachel was eliminated on The X Factor after making it to the top five.

Rachel could be the biggest hit from "X Factor" and I say "good for her!" She's a very talented kid and I bet she has some comedy/acting chops, too.
I don't know what kind of music she will be recording, probably something kid-friendly huh to go along with her Nickelodeon image maybe?
Best of luck to her. She was a very likeable kid!

I agree, she is very likeable, and I am so happy for her. I liked her from the start but she really won me over at the end. She became my favorite. I love her little sassy stage presence and her "yeah"s that she'd add to songs. Such a cute, spunky kid with a huge voice. |

Rachel is very talented and I wish her well. I hope she makes it big! This music is too "pop" for me but it seems current enough and her voice sounds really good, so I hope people really like her.
