it's not really Jimmy's call on who gets what songs out first.. Jimmy just wants to make money and Pia had lots of time to record while the others competed...
XIX Management is run by Simon Fuller, the exec producer for Idol.. it's his job to manage both the "brand" of American Idol and the "stars" it produces...
now after listening to her.. the backup chicks were too loud in the mix... but Pia did a great job on this "ballad"
and she's hot |

Yes, that was definitely her voice singing backup on a pre-recorded track. That's why I thought she wasn't singing live either until close to the end when they cranked up the volume for the track and it sounded like she was shouting over it.
Ihave to agree with catbert - I didn't like the performance. I also agree with Roi - she is hot, but not for me. |
