Cameras everywhere and all that backbiting, lying, cheating and humiliation from the costumes, slop and all. I'll just watch them from the comfort of my own home with no cameras and about 12 bottles of wine and a few beers all to myself. No chance to win $250K, I know, but I am content to be a lazy voyeur . . .

no updates worth mentioning... other than to pay attention to how Dani is controlling the game... she knows Dom is good at the game.. she knows Cassi is Dom's closest ally... sooooo she decides it's time to get rid of Cassi so she can be the closest to Dom...
soooo she talks to Brendon and Rachel and voila.. they don't like Cassi and are determined to get rid of her...
Brendon and Rachel talk about how they have to take control of the game because Jeff/Jordan ar emaking bad decisions.. when in reality, Dani is controlling them... Rachel can't even control herself... and like last year, she'll probably self destruct eventually... unless Dani decides to take her to the finals because NO ONE besides Brendon would vote for her to win...
you should also notice that Brendon and Rachel and Jeff and Jordan are not trusting each other... Dani is noticing that also... and is feeding the discontent... expecting that eventually, she and Dom can beat both teams...
Shelly was a key player in evicting Keith, but since then, she hasn't really done very much...
everyone else is just flying beneath the radar... |

All of that became very obvious in tonight's episode. The only thing I disagree with is that anyone thinks Dominic is good at playing the game. I thought he was floundering up until he won the challenge tonight and saved himself and Adam from the block. I still also think that Danielle is getting a free ride and I would like to see her be betrayed by the rest and somehow get ousted from the house. Well, her and Rachel, that is. Rachel is an emotional landmine and I still don't see how Brendan can put up with coaxing her down from irrational emotional reactions for a lifetime together (ugh!). Now, on the other hand, Jeff got a lot of airtime tonight and that is more than alright with me. I like both Jeff and Jordan - they are both strong (in different ways) and I like the way they interact with each other and the house guests. They are respectable and yet know how to "play the game". As for who will get eliminated, too bad it has to be either Shelly or Cassi. Looks like Cassi's goose may be cooked, but maybe something will change in the next 24 hours. Let me know if you find out, Roi!

Cassi did finally start campaigning to save herself.. Shelly encouraged her to and Kalia encouraged her to... but...
Dani/Bren/Rachel can't stand Cassi so they will do everything they can to oust her... they know Dani and Dom are very close, but they see it as a benefit to the vets and not a threat down the road...
I think Dom has said he'd rather keep Cassi, but doesn't want to piss off Dani/Bren/Rachel..
Jordan likes Cassi and really wanted Dom to go and felt like Cassi would have been a good ally down the road... Jeff didn't really care... he just wanted either Dom or Cassi to go... but neither sees the threat that Dani is getting "too" close to Dom...
Adam just does whatever the HOH says to do.. no matter who the HOH is...
Kalia has no game... she's just a suckup to most everyone...
Lawon has no game... he's not even a suckup.. but he makes some great diary room comments...so I'm gonna go out on alimb and guess he'll be the next to go... this might work okay for J/J because Jordan has been drawing Kalia in...
Dom has game.. he's the one that put the original "Regulators" group together... it was the worst alliance in BB history, but he did put it together... this is part why J/J thinks he's a bigger threat than Cassi is... he's sucked up to J/J and B/R... but I don't think he really has any allegiance to either of them.. by latching onto Dani, I think he'll go further than if he hadn't...
Dani cannot go home until they get down to 10... that's just part of the game this year... as soon as she got the golden key, she realized she couldn't play in any competitions and immediately went to work on her social game... kicking out Cassi to pair up with Dom... sewing discord amongst J/J and B/R which takes focus off herself... by the time they get down to 10, Dani will have spent 3 weeks building relationships all over the house while everyone else is falling apart...
I almost forgot about Porsche... because she hasn't done anything since she got her golden key... seriously... she's hardly ever mentioned on the blog site... was she even in the diary room tonite? was she even on the show tonite? I guess she thinks B/R are taking her to the final 3 and she'd win the vote...
an interesting comment by someone.. I think Jeff.. is that currently, they game they have to play right now is they're having to fast-forward to the final 10 as if it's the end of the game... then when they get to the final 10, they'll have to rewind and start all over again playing BB like it's normally played... |

Yeah, I know! That's why it just isn't right. She didn't do anything to deserve the free pass except just be there as Evil Dick's partner. When he mysteriously left, there she is with a golden key and she can sit on her butt all day long for a month making alliances without a care in the world and no fear about possibly being voted out like everyone else (besides Porsche) for now.

I forgot about her, too and don't recall even seeing her in the BB house tonight. I'd rather see Cassi or Shelly make it to the top ten than her. And you mentioned Kalia - who is she, the black gal partnered with Lewon (is that his name?)? She's just floating (they both are, as you said already) under the radar now.
Also, I guess I'm just not as impressed with Dominic as you and Danielle seem to be. It will be interesting to see who makes HOH this week. If it's one of the newbies, then one of the "oldies" will be put up - better if it's Rachel/Brendon and Rachel goes; if Jeff & Jordan go up and either leaves, I will lose interest. As to the newbies, my favorites were Cassi & Shelly and one of them is getting evicted tomorrow. I have no affinity with any of the others so far.

ahhhhhh.... I don't mean Dom has game as good as any of the vets, but he has better game than any of the rookies... with the possible exception of Shelly and Cassi... Shelly hasn't shown much game lately, if she doesn't soon, she'll get swept away too... and Cassi has shown alot of game since she got put on the block... but that's too little, too late...
Dom is at least making plans (the regulators alliance), promising (and lying about) allegiance to B/R and J/J separately, and promising each pair to throw the other pair under the bus, and realizing that if he's paired with Dani, it's mutually beneficial...
what he doesn't even realize is.... he's not in control of the game at all.. and every one of the vets is only using him to manipulate his voting...
BUT... given HoH... he'd likely be the only rookie with the balls to throw any vet under the bus... NO ONE in the house seems willing to do that just yet... |

Until I started trying to wade through all of the posts since my vacation, I never realized just how MUCH reality TV we all watch. Once my feet heal up from all the walking I did on vacation, I plan on getting out even more & stepping away from the tube. Time to get in shape and energize my brain, instead of getting sucked into the TV.
Ok, getting off my soap box now.

right now, they all are guessing what tonights HoH competition will be... most seem to think it will be a quiz... sooooo...
they are counting everything in the house... how many chairs, how many flowers in a vase, etc
they're trying to figure out how many gallons of milk were in the pools in a previous competition...
how many gumballs were in each contestants bowl for the POV competition...
what order did everyone fall off the banana in the first HoH competition...
this is the everyday life of a BB contestant... |

You are so right, Buckeye!I realized that I watch way too much reality TV and TV in general and am having a hard time prying myself away. I have started back at the gym this week and I'm going out with a friend later where we will be socializing and walking a lot outdoors. This means I will have to record SYTYCD, and if BB is on at the same time, I will just have to read Roi's synopsis. Good for you to take the initiative to get outdoors for a change and thanks for the reminder!  |
