| While watching "Entertainment Tonight" last night, one of the hosts mentioned that the powers that be are already writing a movie based on Casey Anthony and the leading choice to play Nancy Grace is Jane Lynch! I knew this would happen, but I didn't think it would happen so soon. In my heart, I know that Casey did it! I just hope justice is served! |

| Well, Stella, I am right in the middle of nervously watching my alma mater , the University of SC Gamecocks, go for their second straight victory in the College World Series. It's 4-1 and I am a nervous wreck! Also, trying to watch THE VOICE on my other TV. This show has never enthused me for some reason...too much process involved. I guess that makes me superficial, as I just like the finished product! I noticed in the Nielsen ratings it is number 1 ahead of AMGT which has not been as interesting to me either this year. I did notice,too, that for the week of June 13th among African-American viewers SYTYCD is #1. It is obvious they are chosing dancers for that demographic, as I thought from the beginning it was slanted a little too much that way. I guess you cannot blame the producers but things like affirmative action never flew with me. I am a merit-based type of person...NOW ABOUT THE ANTHONY Case today: I was thrilled Kronk blew Cheney Mason out of the water. The "morally bankrupt" guy made him look like an idiot and he was credible! George Anthony and the mistress...liar,liar pants on fire! (you really think he didn't give her some sexual healing to help her through her suffering with that brain tumor! Ha!) They have got to put Ms. River Cruz on the stand to make George look like a big liar! And the jailers who came in to testify about how Tot Mom behaved in jail!...Now what was that about? Judge Perry after they were proffered said "not relevant", And Jesse Grund is a damn fool in my book...and he may get to testify but that is still hearsay from Casey about Lee's abuse...I doubt the judge allows it. I think Jesse is more interested in protecting his possible conjugal visits if LWOP is the sentenced. I ain't never been that in love...LOL! They have 6 more witnesses...if they can testify. Isn't putting up character witnesses for Casey some kind of misnomer or oxymoron!? Can't wait for the rebuttal case...And as far as Casey testifying--- how is Jose going to save his arse after all that crap he laid out in his opening about sex abuse? And that butch death penalty lawyer-they rearranged the whole last 2 days to accommodate her! Why????? So she can examine Casey if she takes the stand? I am glad you can feel for the Anthony's for what they have been through but they are not going to get much sympathy from me...Everything that has happened is a product of their own doing...I feel for that beautiful child who by happenstance of birth was conceived and forced to be raised by the DEVIL INCARNATE!!!!! OH NO! 4-2 now! I can't bear a close game! We gotta win....... ALL nastiness JMOHO |

Oh man, Star, I am behind on the trial details. Haven't watched anything on it today yet. From your recap, though, I am anxious to see how the defense blew it on their own witness, the meter reader Mr. Kronk. I'll be back to post after I catch up. . . say, you didn't say anything about the foolishness & nonsense the defense tried to pull by insisting that Casey be examined by shrinks. They just now noticed something is "off" about this woman? She is competent to assist in her defense, but that's all the positive I can say about her. I so hope they put her on the stand! I will pop some popcorn, pull up a chair and surely will be completely entertained should that happen.
Speaking of "smell-o-vision", I heard a report on public radio yesterday that reported that someone has actually invented it and it should be available to consumers in a few years. I can't imagine why anyone would be interested in that! I am allergic to scents such as too much perfume (on people or in products), so much so that I almost sneezed repeatedly just reading about all the scented air fresheners you sprayed upon the mention of "decomposition". Of course, I hope I never smell that either, but a nice aroma of salami is actually quite appealing. . .

The ploy of spending all the time and money evaluating Casey's competency was disgusting. Anyone who has to be defended with every gimmick, obstructive maneuver, and diversion is pitiful...and obviously GUILTY!(in last post about case) Kinda hurt Stella that you are not hanging on every word I write! ..........Stella, oh yes, that competency ploy did not go unnoticed or uncommented about as you see...(yeah! I hit ENTER)
...I need to learn to hit Enter more often like Roi said so I can be an easy read...You would probably go into anaphylactic shock around here, as I burn incense at times,too. I think I am doing things backasswards at times since I have a hepa filtered air purifier going most of the time. I am just a stereotype at times--Ever see the play the ODD COUPLE? I'm the persnickety one around the house and almost a germaphobe ...
The trial keeps me riled up...I think something is wrong with me since I get wrapped up in this stuff. I start off casually interested while I multi-task, then all of a sudden I am totally absorbed (as in cussing at the TV). If smells started coming from the TV, that would about be enough to make me check into one of those nut houses...I need a hobby...like some occupational/art therapy. It is too hot to get involved in the yard...and most of my friends are busy with family and children or half dead or half crazy now. I must admit I can hardly deal with my own idiosyncrasies much less all the baggage people seem to bring into a relationship on any level...So here I am...watching nutty trials, trying to stay a little informed and communicate with some people with similar interests, and wondering how it all comes down to this after putting some effort into making a good life. I don't know if I should quit thinking about what isn't and concentrate on what is! LOL! |
