While I agree that David A has lost some frontrunner status, nobody else besides David C has really stepped up consistently each week. So for now, those two remain as the frontrunners for the top 2 spots. Lots of weeks left and we all know how quickly things can change.

David A has had 4 of 6 good performances.
Brooke has had 5 of 6 good performances.
David C has had 6 of 6 good performances.
Last night was not good for David A.
Brooke is doing better than you all think and also, do not underestimate Ramiele's fanbase. It's Sanjaya's times 2. |

On the radio yesterday morning, I heard Las Vegas odds for AI contestants and Ramiele was in the top 3 (along w/ Carly and Michael A). I agree, Ramiele has a stronger fan base than expected.
I am sorry to see Chikezie go because I thought he was growing as a singer and as a performer. But, the bottom 3, Chikezie, Syesha and Jason, are the weakest singers of the pack, so tonight's results were not a surprise at all. I thought Syesha's performance was the weakest of the bunch.

Neither Ramiele or Syesha have been my favorites since they are what I refer to as "screamers." They would not have made it this far if they didn't have good voices, at least IMHO, but I don't care for their styles of singing.
Yeah, Doats, screamers... belters... tomato, tomato. (That just lost something in writing) For me, Mariah week is going to be cringe-worthy.

Hopefully that is how it goes. I wouldn't mind seeing Jason in there but he needs to step it up.
You have to watch out for Ramiele though. She has a dedicated young following, probably the same people voting for David A, too. |

I think may have picked up the Danny Noriega votes as well thanks to their friendship. He is in audience each week with her family.

With Chikezie out of the picture, Syesha should pick up his votes; she should be safe for at least a few more weeks. Don't count her out for the top 6, or even top 5.
In order to win, you've gotta pick up voters from the other contestants. If eliminated, here's where I think they might go.
Ramiele -> David A.
Kristy Lee -> Brooke? David A.?
Syesha -> Brooke? Carly?
Michael -> David C.
Brooke -> Carly
Carly -> Brooke? Michael? David C.?
Jason -> ???
David C. -> Michael
David A. -> Jason
I think the big thing right now is that once Jason is eliminated, where will his votes go? If they all go to David A., he'll be unstoppable. If they're spread out among the rest of the contestants, we could have quite a horse race.
