Wow, that was the best show of the year, I think!
How would you rank the final 8?
Give your ranks, with your opinion of who is the best as 1st.

It's too bad more than 1 person per team can't advance because in my opinion, Cee Lo's team blew the other teams away, and actually Christina's team was second best tonight. All my opinion, of course.
I was really impressed with Juliet and Lindsey tonight. I thought they were the best.
Katrina did well, but I'm not as hot on her as some others here are. She was flat on a few notes here and there, I thought. But she did sing well. I thought Tony was much better, though.
I think this was a very good show tonight, the best of the season.
This was the right final 8, but Erin struggled a bit. She was probably my "worst" of the night, which pains me to write because I do have a soft spot for her. I like Jermaine a whole lot more, though. He is awesome and could win this whole thing.
MY rankings of best to good: (don't want to say "worst" because they are all good)
1. Juliet Simms took the show tonight
2. Lindsey Pavao came in a close second for me. She was spot on tonight. I didn't know the song but I appreciated her confidence and her sweet voice tonight
3. Jamar Rogers. Wow. Sucks that he and Juliet are on the same team. He also deserves to be in the finals.
4. Jermaine Paul. He's REALLY great.
5. Chris Mann. He's amazing. Love his opera voice, love his pop voice.
6. Tony Lucca. He is a great singer, and had a great stage presence.
7. Katrina Parker. She did sing well tonight but was slightly under the notes at times. She sure looks great, I love her makeover.
8. Erin Willett. She was off key a bit tonight and the low register didn't work so well for her. My band used to cover that song but I was having problems with it being so low. I tried singing it up but it just didn't build the same way. GREAT song but not right for her range or for this stage in the competition, in my opinion.
I think Juliet and Lindsey may both make it into the finals after their performances tonight. In my opinion, they definitely deserve it. I feel so bad for Jamar though. 
I think Jermaine will also take the viewer and judge's vote, and most likely Tony Lucca will slay the viewer vote but probably get 40 to 60 for Katrina from Adam. Doesn't matter though, as the viewer vote for Tony will be too huge for Adam's vote to over take it.
There's my opinion after seeing the show tonight! What's yours? |

Interesting. I don't see it like that at all. I do agree that it's too bad both of CeeLo's people can't stay. On the other hand, I don't care for either of Xtina's and thought Lindsey was the weakest of the night. I listed my rankings in the showtime thread. Let's see if I can remember how I ranked them.
Teams:
1. CeeLo
2. Adam
3. Blake
4. Xtina
Individuals (without regard to teams)
1. Jamar
2. Julliette
3. Katrina
4. Jermaine (could be #5)
5. Tony (could be #4)
6. Erin
7. Chris
8. Lindsey
My preference for finalist from each team:
CeeLo's: Jamar
Adam's: Katrina
Blake's: Jermaine
Xtina: neither
How I think it will go:
CeeLo's: Julliette
Adam's: Tony
Blake's: Jermaine
Xtina: could be either (doesn't matter - neither will win)
I think it will get down to Julliette and Tony as the final two and it will be close as to who wins. Could go either way.

My boyfriend, who is in his late 30s, enjoyed Lindsey tonight. He picked up the phone and voted for her and Juliet, but also liked Tony, Chris and Jamar.
My boyfriend and I have similar tastes.
His least favorite is Katrina. |

My personal preferences (for the entire season):
1. Lindsey
2. Juliette
3. Jermaine
4. Chris
5. Katrina
6. Jamar
7. Tony
8. Erin
I've been voting for Lindsey, Juliette and Jermaine each time since the voting rounds began. Although... I ditched Jermaine last night for Erin. I thought Jermaine gave his "worst" performance of the season last night (despite how the judges were raving about it) and I caved into the sympathy vote for Erin. I figure Jermaine is going to win in a walk anyway so that particular vote doesn't really matter.
I did vote for Tony over Katrina last night. I think Katrina is the better singer, but Tony's performances the last two weeks have been far more entertaining.
I guess I shouldn't have Chris at #4 on a personal preference list since I don't really care for his genre of music, but the dude can sing. And since this is... well, the voice, that's why I list him up at #4.
Jamar is extremely entertaining. And he'd be a fabulous motivational speaker (which draws a lot of votes). He's a decent singer, but not the best.

3. Tony. A for sure win cause he has the anti Christina vote.
4. Chris. His voice makes me want to have sex with him.
5. Jermaine. Blakes winner
6. Lindsey. I like her, I just like any of the songs she's done.
