for the last three eliminations, correctly predicting:

Heejun
Deandre
and
Colton

Is Dial Idol going to be right tomorrow? Skylar going home?

I will be shocked TWO weeks in a row is this is the case.
THREE weeks in a row would be shockers, for me, if you count Jessica hitting the bottom of the bottom three.

I'm gonna say "no"..

now that there are 2 phone lines for each contestant, the accuracy and precision of DI Official is somewhere around half what it was the last few weeks

Last week, Skylar was second from the bottom on dial idol predictions and she didn't even end up in the bottom three. So, I say not to worry too much. For whatever reason, she's polling lower than she really is.

I was wondering if she really WAS in the bottom three (Are the bottom three they show necessarily the REAL bottom three??) and just not put there OR if Dial idol just skews lower for her??

Last week:

Hollie Cavanagh
1-7
(B3)

Elise Testone
2-7
(B3)

Skylar Laine
2-7
(B3)

- -
Colton Dixon
4-7
(B3)

I still had last weeks show on DVR so I watched the announcements...

Ryan said

"after over 53 million votes..."

"now here with Hollie.. after the nationwide vote.. I'm sorry to have to tell you.. that you are the first person in the bottom 3 tonight"

"Elise.. after the nationwide vote... I have to tell you that you.. are in the bottom 3"

"Skylar.. after the nationwide vote.. would you please take a seat at the couches because you are safe"

"so to recap.. Hollie and Elise are in the bottom 3"

"Colton and Phillip.. neither one has been in the bottom 3.. tonight.. that is about to change..."

"the person at risk of leaving our stage tonight .. is.. Colton"

"Hollie and Elise join me at the center of the stage with Colton... THIS is what you have decided at home... your bottom 3"

so.. either you believe Ryan or you don't... or maybe there's just doubts...

AND..

Hollie is predicted to be definitely "SAFE"

that's pretty bold...

although she is currently in danger of being in the B3

Looks like a big problem with Hollie's vote in California. Elise is now at the bottom.

I think she gets a lot of text and Facebook votes, plus Hollie and Elise have always gotten large #'s of busies from certain areas which makes their scores seem higher.

I think Hollie was one of the two best last night and I am banking on the tweenies thinking so, too I wouldn't be surprised if she's safe tonight!

That's weird... when I went to bed this morning (it was after 1am my time, lol, so it was indeed "morning"), the scores on idol were just about the same totals only Skylar was at the bottom and Elise was in 5th. But Skylar had 5.something and Elise had 7.something. Weird.
Did they really flip that much, or were their numbers wrong and did the site admin (Jim?) manually edit it? Maybe I was just seeing things, but I thought voting would have been over by then?

the DIhard graphs is a pretty cool tool... you can see when the scores started changing, almost immediately after you left last night... and by 1:30am Skylar had climbed off the bottom and Hollie had taken over first place...

voting didn't end until 5am eastern... or at least, DI computed scores until then... but no new votes were recorded after 2am

One thing I observed last night from looking at the DIHardGraphs is that Jessica and Skylar are the only 2 who had periods where their line #2 was busier than their line #1. I see this as a sign of strength, as this likely means more fans needed the line #2 because of not being able to get through on line #1. FWIW, I got a lot of busies for Skylar on both lines.
