I am in a pissed off mood right now, lol...
I just got called an idiot by someone who lost their dog. **I'm** the idiot. They can't keep an eye on their dog, but **I** am the idiot. I am trying to help this person who posted an ad on Craig's List that their dog was lost. I sent them a picture of a part Pug breed that was at the animal control in risk of being put to sleep if the owner doesn't come. They said they lost a Pug. The ad didn't show a picture, but listed it was a brown pug and a girl. I thought it was worth a chance, even if the dog wasn't a full breed Pug. Sometimes people call their dog one breed and he or she is really another breed. So she emails me back that "this dog is not even a Pug, idiot". No thank you for trying to help, no nothing. First of all, she is the idiot for losing her dog, but second she's an idiot for not even putting a picture of her dog on her ad. How the f*ck are people supposed to help her find a dog when they don't know what it looks like. That's the kind of thanks that my friends and I get for volunteering our time to help people find their dogs. Normally people are kinder but it just takes one IDIOT to make us not want to help anymore. This is one reason why I like many animals more than most people. Some people can be rude jacka**e*. Grrr.

Honestly that person is a jerk. You tried to do something useful and they certainly could have added that it was a purebreed pug to help enlighten the potential finders of his/her dog. I like analyzing things. I was sharing some honest concerns that this poll was a kind of messed up poll when people do not understand the purpose of the poll. I am just one example of a person who did not understand the purpose of the poll. Maybe I am the only one who didn't but to be honest I still don't understand the purpose of the poll. If it is to predict the order of finish than I will make my vote based on predicting the order of finish. Still if others are making their vote based on who they like best how can we count their votes and mine both? We are voting on completely different subjects. |

However I have just found out this thread isn't about how much people like the contestants. It isn't about anything actually. Maybe by some weird way this everybody voting based on different criterion somehow does get the results correct it is still nothing for us to take credit for when that is not what the participants are attempting to do when they vote. It is not complicated. I have a total grip on reality. As for not liking it don't participate that is an option but I like participating and being a part of this forum. So I am going to do my best to participate and understand what I am participating in. I (sarcastically) apologize for analyzing this thread and trying to make some sense out of it.
the only thing you have to understand or make sense of is.. post your rankings... or don't... I don't care how you arrive at them... I don't care what you think about it...

Happy to post my rankings. What am I supposed to be ranking? When you say post my rankings that implies to me that I am ranking the contestants from best to worst. However you specifically told me that this was a predictions thread in one of your replies to me. OK whatever I will quit trying to have an intellectual discussion on this thread. I think you did a wonderful thing. I hope someone with a heart finds that dog and keeps it and loves it more than anybody who could call a compassionate, caring person an idiot ever could. |

I have said time and time again.. base your rankings on whatever you want.. I don't care what you base them on... if you can't understand that after having been told so many times... I can't help you
the individual rankings don't have to be predictions, but they will be used to make a collective prediction... if you can't understand that, I can't help you...
if you can't understand either of those things, then I can't help you have an intellectual discussion on this thread...

of course, with only one known position, a perfect score is the same as a correct elimination... and most every prediction I've seen today had Hollie going home.. well.. except the DI official poll which only predicted Jessica was safe.. and the Boring Data poll which had Joshua going home...
but that still makes 3 perfect scores and an additional correct elimination... no matter what anyone else thinks about it
